The name Goddey Obi Nzete now echoes beyond Delta State as the Ndokwa West Chairman secures one of Africa’s highest honours for patriotic leadership.

In a ceremony by the Trans-African Youth Development Initiative (TAYDI), Nzete received the Nelson Mandela Award of Excellence and was inducted into the Pan-African Hall of Fame.

TAYDI also named Ndokwa West the “Most Accommodating and Productive LGA in West Africa”, citing the council’s efforts in community development.

Speaking after the awards, Chief Nzete credited the achievements to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, his wife, and the Ndokwa people, vowing to continue building “an enviable LGA among equals.”
